Description: Add Minds to Decentralized Social Networks "Worth Mentioning" section.
Minds URL: https://www.minds.com/
Wikipedia: https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minds
Doesn't Minds support hate speech? Although, Minds doesn't censor content it does enable users to flag content that may be found offensive like nsfw. You may then opt-out/filter these.

How exactly is it decentralized?

How exactly is it decentralized?

I believe the "decentralized" part they refer to is the use of an ethereum token for payments. Nonetheless, this looks like a STEEM copy to me, I'm unsure if it should be featured.

If I understand correctly they utilize a decentralized video content storage and have a self-host option (I haven't used it). They also have a decentralized reward system.
I started an issue for this: https://github.com/Minds/front/issues/63
Wikipedia is a decent resource too: https://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minds

STEEM is more of a blogging platform, I know this is a privacy community but have you ever used Facebook? It is very similar to that.

Minds has been overrun by Nazis and has little to no commitment to protecting it's users from other users like the Federated social sites. I think it would be a bad addition personally.

@danarel They have a user-led censorship system. You can feel free to mark posts as NSFW.

Most Free Software social networks appear to get a lot of attention from censored groups like Neo-Nazis.

IMHO the user-led censorship opt-in/out model works very well.
As Minds matures it should only get better. :)

In my experience, networks like Reddit and Twitter are far more overrun by hate speech than Minds.

This will always happen, since they're the most censored group on most social media. I think Steemit is a bit better though? It's very good tech-wise and also community-wise afaik.

I didn't look at Minds deeply, but I am not sure about them immediately suggesting Android and iOS apps and I am somewhat pessimistic about cryptocurrencies by default (#798).

However the page seems to have moved to https://github.com/privacytoolsIO/privacytools.io/blob/master/_includes/sections/social-networks.html from index.html and this pull request would need updating.
