https://deploy-preview-2014--privacytools-io.netlify.app/services/chat/#homeserverinfo - you have unmatched code block as the closing one is incorrectly </chat> so this currently breaks the rest of the site. Unrelatedly I wonder if there could also be anchors for FAQ entries or at least the FAQ heading as the closest I was able to find was the homeserverinfo.

Also feel free to ignore my suggestion or improve on it, I just think it may look a bit better.

And thank you for this, I didn't know that it's now possible to add room directories from other homeservers without editing Element's config.json

How do I explore PrivacyTools Matrix room directory from another homeserver using Element?

Click on the compass icon above the room list, and open the drop down box saying "Matrix-rooms (your homeserver), and from there select the "+ Add a new server ...", and enter
privacytools.io
(not
chat.privacytools.io
which won't work)into the box and then finally click Add.

I made the change and committed it. I hope that's the proper procedure.

I still think the long header looks a bit clumsy, but I don't see anything actually wrong with it now 👍

I'm not using the PrivacyTools homeserver, can I find PrivacyTools rooms in Element?

Yes! Open the room explorer (compass icon on Element desktop), click the server selection drop down next to the search bar, click "Add a new server", type
privacytools.io
, and click Add. You should then be able to view and search through rooms that the PrivacyTools server is aware of. Note that not every room hosted on PrivacyTools is affiliated with or moderated by the PrivacyTools team.
