Ive been thinking this over for a bit, maybe, we could try to instead of removing it, give the windows icon a red colour, and make it scroll down to the windows warning page when clicked. this way people on windows are still informed that its an available for windows , if they still use it, but they will also discover that we don't recommend windows usage.
I think this may be a wrong way to discourage Windows usage as people are still going to use Windows for gaming or required to use Windows for work etc. so knowing that apps work on WIndows can be useful.
I have to agree with Mikaela, we should show the Windows icon for the same reason we show the Chrome icon. I don't think it's construed as an endorsement.
Okay, these are good points you all raised. I think we should close this for now and reference it for any future discussions for updating/removing the Windows icons.
