Spot-On (encryption suite supporting chat, e-mail, file transfer,...):
https://sourceforge.net/projects/spot-on
GoldBug (more simplified graphical user interface for the Spot-On kernel than the Spot-On application itself, included in github repository of Spot-On):
http://goldbug.sourceforge.net
Smoke (android app semi-compatible with Spot-On):
https://textbrowser.github.io/smoke
Looking at all the features listed at https://sourceforge.net/projects/spot-on it seems like Spot-On is ticking an awful lot of boxes when it comes to secure and private communication.
Latest version of Spot-On available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/spot-on/files has .dmg, .exe (in zip) and armhf/powerpc/amd64.deb installer files.
Review/audit in june 2016 of Spot-On (GoldBug) and comparison with CryptoCat, OTR-XMPP clients such as Pidgin with the OTR-plugin, RetroShare, Signal, Surespot and Tox:
