Basic Information
Name: RemoteHQ
Category: Cloud-based Browser
URL: www.remotehq.com
Description
We (RemoteHQ) are a bunch of software devs from MIT, Digital Ocean, etc. building a "Remote Browser" - essentially a single-use, burner web browser that lives in the cloud. Launch a Chrome or Firefox browser in any number of cloud geo. No client to install - use local browser to access cloud-based browser. Each session is a brand new browser, sandboxed in a VM, installed from scratch and deleted upon session completion. No browser is used twice. Nothing is ever saved. It is fully isolated from your computer - no malware will ever infect your computer.
Why I am making the suggestion
We launched recently and folks big and small (Kickstarter, ZapSurgical, MIT, etc.) have been using us. We'd like to get more folks trying it out and give us feedback. Happy to give free usage in exchange for feedback!
My connection with the software
