Basic Information
Name: BlackHole
Category: File Sharing
URL: blackhole.run
Description
It's an end-to-end encrypted decentralized file sharing service without any storage limit. There is no need to create an account to download a file. The protocol is also open-source. It uses blockchain technology with Blockstack.
Why I am making the suggestion
I like the service. It's free and open-source. You can also download the file even if it's not done uploading.
My connection with the software
I am not related with the authors. I just use the service and wanted to share it.
Although I like the concept, it seems only the protocol is open-source, not the app. Hence, and if I'm not mistaken, I don't think BlackHole should be included on privacytools.io . But if they ever fully open-source their whole ecosystem, this could be a great candidate.
