Description

Not only Linux is a kind of FLOSS operating system. BSD is also a choice.
However it's for advanced users because users are on their own to read documents and solve the problem by themselves.

Why I am making the suggestion

Though it maybe hard to start to learn FreeBSD, but with the experience from Linux, it won't be a problem.

Just like Linux, FreeBSD has X desktops such as Gnome, KDE, Mate, Xfce and Cinnamon.
Several applications are included in the official repo. Use pkg install <package> to install Firefox, Chromium or LibreOffice.
Can be used to host stable servers.
Suits those who like challenges from OS.

My connection with the software

I am working on developments, which makes me porting the features to FreeBSD.

I will keep the issue up-to-date if something I have said changes or I remember a connection with the software.
