Description
DeCloudUs is a secure, private, free, open-source-based DNS resolver that completely blocks Google in addition to ads, trackers, and malicious domains.
Why I am making the suggestion
I started DeCloudUs DNS service/project because, to my knowledge, no other public DNS resolver is completely blocking Google, in addition to ads, online trackers, and malicious domains. As the deGoogling movement is gaining momentum, I believe this would be a unique addition to DNS recommendation list, available to anyone ready to completely deGoogle/unGoogle.
My connection with the software
I am the DNS service admin and operator.
Where is it hosted? GitHub or GitLab? I can't find it. Is it open source?
Looks like this service is run by one person based on TOS. 'This service is run by me personally as an individual.'
'Donations made are considered gifts to be used at my discretion.'
The service runs fully on open source software (Debian, nginx, Encrypted DNS Server for DNSCrypt, etc). There is no custom or modified source code, so there is no need for Github or Gitlab repo. Happy to address any other questions.
Seems to be hosted at Hetzner, that's a very reliable host in my experience.
