Description

Currently MetaGer is listed in the "Worth Mentioning" section here. I propose upgrading them to their own card. I think they stand out enough to warrant this:

Run by non-profit
Runs onion service
Open-source
Offers anonymous proxy service similar to Startpage's "Anonymous View"
Metasearch engine, "We query up to 50 search engines."
Since 1996
Bonus: "We only use green electricity for our servers."

I use them and completely agree. Only problem I've had is that links (for example to wikipedia) often come up in German.

Hmm maybe you need to specify the language in the settings. Or try their other English version, https://metager.de/en, or English test version, https://metager3.de/en/. Or maybe you have an about:config option that’s causing the language in the request header to be dropped 🤔
