I think this is more of a AWS competitor rather than a NextCloud competitor, maybe there can be some distinction between the two types of cloud storage.

Sia only accepts crypto as payment and everything is client-side encrypted by default (what NextCloud likes to call "end-to-end encryption").

I'd say there is no competition as far as anonymity goes for massively scalable CDN-like services.
