Basic Information
Name: needrestart
Category: OS/#cpuvulns
URL: https://github.com/liske/needrestart
Description
Needrestart is called by the package manager (dpkg/rpm/pacman (I thought it supported more, but I think it may still be worth of inclusion)) and it will check running services and processes in case they are running outdated library versions and suggest restarting them. It will also notice when there has been a kernel or microcode update and then tells that the system should be rebooted to apply it.
I would like to list Needrestart together with #1404 if you support the listing.
Closing as #1411 was approved and I merged it without much interest towards this issue.
